How do we collect your data?

You directly provide the Company the data we collect during the client onboarding process with us by completing the information pack or trust application form.

The Company may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • Background checks performed during KYC screening processes

How will we use your data?

The Company collects your data so that we can:

  • Onboard you as a client
  • Provide services as agreed under the management agreement
  • Ensuring that you get the best services and support from the Company

As a client with us, the Company may share some of your data with the following organizations:

  • Financial Services Commission for regulatory requirements
  • Auditing firms for Compliance and Audit requirements
  • The Bank for payment processing purposes;
  • The Mauritius Revenue Authority for tax purposes;
  • And any other regulatory bodies if required by law

How do we store your data?

The Company securely stores your data on various softwares that it uses.

The Company will keep your personal data during the time where you are a client with us. After termination of our business relationship, the Company shall retain some of your personal data as per legal and regulatory requirements for a period of 7 years.

What is your data protection rights?

The Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. You are entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request the Company for copies of your personal data.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that the Company corrects any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request the Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that the Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that the Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that the Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Exercising your data protection rights is subject to our obligation to fulfill the requirements of our management agreement with you and your obligation to fulfill the requirements of a Client under the regulations set forth by the Financial Services Commission.

Changes to our privacy policy

The Company keeps its privacy policy under regular review. Any updates to this policy shall be communicate directly to you via the email address that you provide us during your onboarding process.
